Warkworth Cement Works

This gorgeous space has been used as a swimming hole in the past.  The water is orange at the time of writing this due to an algae bloom but is deemed safe for swimming.  Please check on the Auckland City Coucil website beforehand just to be on the safe side.  Be aware that there are electric fences to keep dogs away from the sheep.
